FEELING Officially Selected for the 2ND Annual SO REEL Film Festival
Hilton Goode’s emotionally charged short film FEELING has officially been accepted into the So Reel Film Festival, a celebration of bold voices and underrepresented stories in independent cinema.
Set in New York City, FEELING explores the intimate and complex connection between two young adults, Bento and Elysee, whose bond deepens through a series of unspoken moments. Told with raw realism, stylized visuals, and a soulful soundtrack, the film captures the quiet intensity of modern Black love and the vulnerability that comes with truly being seen.
FEELING has already generated buzz for its unique blend of comic book aesthetics, vérité-style intimacy, and cultural resonance. Its selection by the So Reel Film Festival further underscores the film’s growing impact within the indie circuit.
For Goode, who also wrote, directed, and produced the film, this marks a significant milestone. “This film was born out of a very personal place,” Goode shared. “To see it connect with others — especially in a space like So Reel that values authenticity — means everything.”
